Spring Break!

We are all trying to adjust to life again after a fun filled Spring Break. We didn't get back home again until Sunday night at 10:00 so we are taking a few days to get back to normal. We usually try to get home early to have the extra down time, but this time we just wanted to check out of our crazy lives for as long as possible. We had a blast in Seattle, the kids really enjoyed our time there. We crammed in as much as we could every day and accomplished a lot. We made it to the Science Center, Children's Museum, Space Needle, Zoo, Aquarium, Museum of Flight and lots of little places along our way. Our favorites were the IMAX theater, seahorses, and hotel swimming!

Avery LOVED this Butterfly Exhibit at the science center. There were huge butterflies all over the place, even on the people. She also loved the Boa Constrictor and kept asking if we could hold it and tried to open the door to his cage and get him out. Can you believe that girl?

Caleb was very into the BIG things. He really enjoyed this climbing wall and hiking trail, got a kick out of the freaky sharks at the aquarium and couldn't get enough of the robots and machines at the science center. And of course, LOVED the hotel shower caps.

Abby was very excited to see the Space Needle in real life, but really of all the things we did, the hotel and swimming pool were the highlight for this girl. Caleb and Avery feel almost the same way. We've decided next time we need a break, we'll go to the closest hotel with a pool to get away.
